| 中文描述 | 由馬焦蟲(BABESIA EQUI)或焦蟲屬(B. CABALLI)引起。受媒介昆蟲的分佈限制，出現於熱帶，亞熱帶和氣候溫暖的地區。在美國佛羅里達有被診斷出來過。症狀在成年動物可能從輕微到嚴重，初生的疾病或症狀出現在2-3天大的動物也曾被報導過。由血液抹片中的微生物鑑定診斷。 |

| 英文描述 | Caused by BABESIA EQUI or B. CABALLI. Limited to the range of insect vectors in the tropics, subtropics, and warm temperate zones. Has been diagnosed in Florida in U.S. Signs can range from mild to severe in adults, and neonatal disease or signs developing at 2-3 days of age have been reported. Dx by identification of the organism on blood smears. |
